Davis Cup

The competition played since 1900 is the oldest and one of the most prestigious tennis team competition of the world. The every year competition for the legendary "salad bowl" is considered to be an unofficial World Championship. In the year 2006, there were 133 nations participating on the Davis Cup.

The individual matches of our team are broadcasted by the Czech TV (app. 12 hours of TV live coverage per one tie), news shots are taken over by sports programmes of all televisions.

The daily attendance at the matches moves around 10,000 spectators.

Ceska sportovni provides the marketing and organizing service for both Davis Cup home and away ties.
